Design and Implementation of Welding Process Data System Based on VB and MySQL

  • Based on the welding standards of ship structure, by choosing MySQL database, Visual Basic programming language and the relevant methods and theories of database design, the design of ship welding database, database management system and database interface are carried out, respectively. A relatively complete database system of ship welding process is developed, which provides four functions of user login, data management, system settings and help. The results show that the establishment of the welding database system can initially provide process design guidance for welding processors and reliable data reference for ship welding. It is of great significance to shorten the preparation period of welding process, improve the efficiency of welding work and improve the management level of welding process data.
