  • Aluminum and steel explosive composite transition joint increasingly extends its application in the design of the hull. Taking the commonly used aluminum-aluminum-steel and aluminum-titanium-steel as the main objects, the explosive composite technology was briefly introduced, the basic characteristics of transition joints analyzed, the research progress of aluminum and steel transition joint material system, standard system and welding process reviewed, and the typical problems existing in the application of aluminum and steel explosive composite transition joints analyzed. The existing performance verification, welding technology and corrosion protection of aluminum and steel explosive composite transition joint should be further improved to ensure safe and reliable application of the material.
