Study on Thermal Processing Technology for Improving the Plasticity and Toughness of Ti70 Medium Thick Plate

  • To solve the problems of low elongation and impact property of Ti70 medium plate, influence of hot processing technology on the mechanical properties of Ti70 medium plate was systematically studied, and the processing technology improved. The results show that compared with the traditional hot processing technology, by increasing the rolling deformation and reducing the rolling temperature, the elongation and low temperature impact performance of Ti70 medium plate can be significantly improved. The new thermal processing technology can also provide a new process design idea for the improvement of the elongation and impact property of other α and near α titanium alloys.
