  • The damping composites are fabricated with glass fiber, viscoelastic layer and epoxy resin via VARI co-curing process. It exhibits high strength, rigidity, loss factor and good heat distortion temperature. Different kinds of thermal aging test are conducted on the damping composites. The results indicates that the mechanical properties and damping properties are less affected after the short-term thermal aging tests. Meanwhile, the lifetime equation is established according to the performance evolution of the damping composites during the accelerated aging test, and the maximum service temperature is 82.1℃.
