  • 13 test titanium welded pipes are obtained by controlling the production process parameters of titanium welded pipes. The test titanium welded pipes are analyzed by observing the metallographic structure and measuring the thickness by X-ray. The eddy current flaw detector is used to detect the titanium welded pipes of the samples, and the results of eddy current flaw detection are statistically analyzed.Resultsshow that the average grain diameter and wall thickness fluctuation can affect the noise signal amplitude. The amplitude of eddy current detection noise signal can be reduced by controlling the average grain diameter and wall thickness fluctuation of titanium welded pipe in industrial production conditions.
