Abstract
Thermomechanical processing in the α+β region is an important process in the molding stage of titanium alloys. In this work, the effects of hot deformation parameters in the α+β region on the dynamic recrystallization, texture and microtexture evolution of Ti65 alloys are investigated. The results show that the <11-20>//CD fiber texture is generated during compression. The texture strength increases with the increase of deformation degree, deformation temperature and strain rate. With the increase of deformation degree and deformation temperature and decrease of strain rate, the recrystallization degree in the microstructure increases. The deformantion temperature and cooling mode play the main role in the evolution of microtexture, whereas the deformation degree and strain rate have almost no effect on the microtexture.
