Study on Ultraviolet Aging Properties of Rubber Materials in Railway Vehicle

  • The influences of ultraviolet aging on mechanical properties of rubber materials in railway vehicle are analyzed by ultraviolet aging experiments.Resultsshow that with the prolonging of aging time, the tensile strength increases at first and then decreases, hardness tends to increase, and elongation at break shows decreasing trend. The results also show that the change law of ultraviolet aging is similar to that of the hot air aging.
