Research Progress on Sliding Electrical Contact Materials for Medium Voltage Slip Rings in Single Point Mooring System

Here are reviewed the research progress of sliding electrical contact materials with high current-carrying density above 10 A/cm² in the past 40 years, and summarized the current-carrying sliding contact performance of sliding electrical contact materials and the influence of sliding contact friction and wear parameters on the reliability of materials in service. This research can provide references for the future development of high-current sliding electrical contact materials.
