Abstract
In order to solve DC stray current corrosion problem of seawater pipe in ship, in this paper, weight loss experiment, electrochemical measurement, SEM and EDS analysis are carried out to study the influence of DC stray current on the corrosion of 90/10 copper-nickel and the control effect of direct electric drainage and sacrificial anode protection. The experimental results show that corrosion rate of 90/10 copper-nickel linearly increases with the increase of DC stray current and corrosion preferentially occur in the grain boundary. DC stray current corrosion can be controlled by both direct electric drainage and sacrificial anode protection, and the control effect of direct electric drainage is better than that of sacrificial anode.
