  • The effects of flame retardant system and its addition on the oxygen indexes, smoke densities and damping performances of the NBR damping materials were investigated. The results showed that MPP flame retardant system had lower smoke density and higher damping performance than ATH flame retardant system. Synergistic agent ZB could improve the flame retardant properties and reduce the smoke density, and decrease the maximum loss factor of the material at the same time.
