Effect of Gd on Microstructure and Corrosion Resistance of Mg-Gd-Y-Zr Alloys

摘要: 用金相、SEM、全浸腐蚀试验等方法研究了Mg-xGd-3Y-0.5Zr(x取6、8、10)镁合金的微观组织和耐蚀性能。结果表明,Gd含量显著影响合金中第二相的数量和分布,随着Gd含量的增加,合金中第二相数量明显增加、尺寸减小,合金耐蚀性能下降。Abstract: The microstructure and corrosion resistance of Mg-xGd-3Y-0.5 Zr(x=6, 8 and 10) were studied by means of metallurgical microscope, SEM and immersion corrosion experiment.The results show that Gd content significantly affects the number and distribution of the second phase. With the increase of Gd content, the number of the second-phase increases, the size decreases and the corrosion resistance decreases.
