Properties of Al2O3/Cu Composites for Fabrication of Spot-welding Electrode

摘要: 为提高传统点焊电极材料的抗软化温度,研究开发了具有高抗软化性能的Al2O3颗粒增强Cu基复合材料,对其微观组织和软化温度、导电率进行了测试,结果表明该Al2O3/Cu复合材料的软化温度高达930℃,导电率达86.49% IACS,适宜制作点焊电极材料。Abstract: A novel Al2O3/Cu composite is prepared by internal oxidation method to replace the traditional spot-welding electrode material of copper alloy whose softening temperature is low. The properties and micro-structure of the composite are investigated. The result manifests that the electric conductivity of the composite reaches 86.49%IACS and the softening temperature is up to 930℃, indicating the composite is suitable for spot-welding electrode.
