Synthesis of Ca3Co4O9 Powder by EDTA Complexing Sol-Gel Method

摘要: 钴基氧化物Ca3Co4O9是一种新型的中高温热电材料。本文以金属醋酸盐和乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)为原料,利用EDTA络合溶胶-凝胶法制备了Ca3Co4O9粉体,通过X射线衍射(XRD)、热重-差示扫描量热分析(TG-DSC)、傅利叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)、X射线能谱仪(EDX)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)等手段对Ca3Co4O9进行表征。实验结果表明,干凝胶在700-900℃条件下恒温煅烧2h,即可获得纯相Ca3Co4O9片状晶体,其晶粒尺寸约为1-2μm。Abstract: Ca3Co4O9 is a novel kind of material with mid and high temperature thermoelectric properties.With acetates and ethylene-diamine-tetraacetic-acid(EDTA) as raw materials,Ca3Co4O9 powders were synthesized by EDTA complexing sol-gel method at lower temperature.Ca3Co4O9 powders were characterized by means of thermogravimetry-differential scanning calorimeter(TG-DSC),X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transformation-infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis(EDX).The results show that the single phase Co3Co4O9 powders can be obtained after the xerogel calcined at 700-900℃ for 2h and the Ca3Co4O9 powders were sheet-like crystals with the average size of 100~200 nm.
