Effect of Yield Strength of Titanium on the Bonding Performance of Large Area Titanium-Steel Cladding Plate

摘要: 通过有限元模拟分析和爆炸焊接试验验证,研究了原材料钛的屈服强度和大面积钛-钢复合板结合性能的关系。结果表明,在爆炸焊接高温高压作用下,钛层的塑性畸变是产生褶皱型未结合缺陷的主要因素;控制原材料钛的屈服强度使之处于较低的水平,能够改善钛在爆炸焊接时的塑性应变行为,有利于获得良好结合性能。Abstract: Through the finite element simulation analysis and verification of explosive welding test,the relationship between yield strength of titanium and the bonding performance of titanium-steel cladding plate with large area was studied. The results showed that the plastic distortion of the titanium layer is the main factor to produce the fold- type unbonding under high temperature and high pressure of explosive welding. Keeping the yield strength of the titanium at a low level can improve the plastic strain behavior of titanium in explosive welding,which is beneficial to getting a good bonding performance.
