Analysis of the Performance of Duplex Stainless Steel Surfacing Layer under Two Cooling Methods

摘要: 采用药芯焊丝CO2气保焊(FCAW)在低碳钢表面堆焊一层双相不锈钢表层,分析了水冷和空冷冷却方式对双相钢堆焊层的力学性能、耐腐蚀性能以及铁素体-奥氏体(α-γ)两相组织的影响。结果表明,水冷和空冷冷却方式对堆焊层的力学性能无显著影响;水冷时堆焊层铁素体含量为45.17%,比空冷更接近两相平衡,其显微组织为块状铁素体和沿晶界或亚晶界分布的针状奥氏体;水冷时堆焊层具有更优异的耐腐蚀性能,平均腐蚀速率为0.488 mm/a。Abstract: Here were studied the mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and the ferrite-austenite (α-γ) dual-phase structure of the overlay of duplex stainless steel coated on the low-carbon steel by CO2 flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) and cooled in water and air. The results showed that the methods of water or air cooling had no significant effect on the mechanical properties of the surfacing layer; that the ferrite content of the surfacing layer cooled in water could reach 45.17%, which was more closed to equilibrium than in air cooling, and that the surfacing layer was mainly composed of block ferrite and acicular austenite distributed along the ferrite crystal or sub-crystal boundaries; that the surfacing layer cooled in water had superior corrosion resistance and the average corrosion rate was 0.488 mm/a.
