Research on Temperature Compensation of Optical Fiber Bragg Grating Based on ZrW2O8 Ceramic

摘要: 研究了具有负热膨胀系数的ZrW2O8粉末烧结陶瓷衬底对光纤Bragg光栅的温度补偿,并对温度补偿前后光纤光栅的温度敏感性进行了测试,结果表明,经过温度补偿的光纤光栅与金属拉伸板连接后,在(20~60)℃的温度范围内,其中心波长的变化仅为0.7 pm/℃,温度稳定性是普通光栅的14倍,并且其拉伸线性以及重复性也很好。Abstract: ZrW2O8 powders with negative thermal expansion coefficient were sintered into a ceramic substrate for the temperature compensation research of the fiber Bragg grating, and the temperature sensitivity of the fiber Bragg grating was tested before and after the temperature compensation. After the temperature compensated fiber Bragg grating was connected with the metal tensile plate, the change of the central wavelength was only 0.7 pm/℃ in the temperature range of (20~60) ℃. The temperature stability was 14 times of that of the uncompensated grating, and its tensile linearity and repeatability were very good.
