Abstract:
The features of diffuse scattered streak in SADPs of β phase in Ti alloy were analyzed under transmission electron microscopy(TEM).These SADPs show that the diffuse scattered streaks in SADPs form a network.For more zone axises,each streak consists of several sections.The sections are parallel each other,but do not lie in a line.The diffuse scattered streaks lie in 112
β.The direction are
β×112
β when the zone axise is
β.The cause that the streaks do not lie in a line was explained.It has been identified that the diffuse scattered streak arose from the softening of 112
β phonon mode.
