Forecasting for Hardness Probability Distribution and Allowable Tensile Strength Value of 35CrMoV Steel

  • Based on the investigation on hardness probability distribution and allowable tensile strength value of 35CrMoV steel,normal probability distribution of Brinell hardness and strength for 35CrMoV steel were analyzed by using least square method and K-S test.The relation between Brinell hardness and strength was discussed.With the method of the normal algebraic operation,the allowable tensile strength value was estimated from the probability distribution of Brinell hardness.Compared with the value calculated from the probability distribution of tensile strength,there is less error for mean value.However the error for variance is more than the one for mean value.
