Experimental Study of Curing Temperature on the Early Strength of Nuclear Protection Geopolymer

  • The influence of curing temperature, curing time and the type of sand on the strength of the geopolymer was analyzed, and temperature response tests were conducted. Experimental results showed that the curing temperature had an significant influence on the early strength of geopolymer that the higher the curing temperature was, the higher the early strength was and the faster the strength enchanced; the curing temperature had a little effect on geopolymer cured for more than 6. 5 hrs and couldn't change the ultimate strength of the polymer; the geopolymer blended in Hubei sand presented the highest strength.
