Research Progress on Highly Efficient Bismuthoxybromide(BiOBr) Photocatalyst

  • Here were introduced the crystal characteristics and catalytic mechanism of BiOBr catalyst and the effects of its preparation methods on the morphology and purity of the catalyst. Several modification methods for the modification of BiOBr catalyst such as ion doping, noble metal deposition, hetero structure construction, dye sensitization, new material and BiOBr composite and the preparation of active surfaces were emphasized. The prospect of BiOBr catalyst was also discussed.
