  • Discontinuously reinforced copper matrix composites, possessing high electrical and thermal conductivity, good tribological characteristic and high-temperature mechanical properties, are promising candidates for applications in many high-tech fields.In this paper,the design principles and properties of these materials are introduced, the superiority and shortcomings of the common production methods are evaluated and the problems to be solved in the future are presented.
