  • The mechanism of erosion-corrosion of duplex stainless steel is introduced and the ways to improve the erosion-corrosion resistance of duplex stainless steel such as stain hardening,secondary phase strengthening,heattreatment as well as minim element alloying are summarized in this paper,to provide a guidance for materials design and performance study,especially for the application of new erosion-corrosion resistent materials.
