Research progress of Technology for Sandwich Structural Absorbing Stealthy Composite Materials

  • This paper reviewed the recent research of the technology for sandwich structure absorbing stealthy composite materials.Sandwich structural stealthy material is a kind of composite material which has two functions,as stealth and bearing load.The wave-absorbing stealthy characteristics,application of honeycomb sandwich structure and foam plastic sandwich structure is focused on.Main aspects which impact the absorbing properties of honeycomb sandwich structure,such as the size and the impregnated glue system is introduced,the absorption and mechanical properties of two common absorbing foam sandwich composites,polyurethane and polymethacrylimide(PMI) foam plastic is describled,and the application prospect of absorbing PMI foam is forecasted.
