  • On the limit structural design of a model bearing, the yield-strength fluctuations of shear pin should be less than 5%.To meet the design requirements, the temperature and time of the transfer process should be tightly controlled.Comparing the effect of quenching temperature, tempering temperature and holding time of each other on the strength and toughness of material,we found that the tempering temperature and it's holding time was the main factors to affect the material strength and toughness. The small-scale furnaces and production furnaces test showed that tempering 60-90 min with temperature fluctuations controlled under ±10℃ can make the material properties meet the design requirements.
