  • The cause of weld pit by a certain batch of 705-ch fused flux was analyzed, and inclusions in different fluxes and microstructures and mechanical properties of deposited metal from different fluxes were investigated. The results show that the CO2 produced by the decomposition of the marble particles mixed in the flux under the heat of welding is the cause of the formation of the weld pit.
