I1 Distribution Function in Necking Process of Tensile Specimen

  • Bridgman's solution of stress equation in necking zone of tension specimen was used to obtain the first stress invariant I1 distribution function of necking zone. Stress distribution of necking zone of EH50 steel specimen was analyzed.Results indicated that I1 of necking zone was distributed as power function, and that there was an increasing linear relationship between strain ε and I1 at the center of necking zone, which could be expressed as I1=517+1 153ε.
