Abstract
Here is studied the influence of system vibration on the fatigue performance of bellows for thermal networks under working conditions like working stress, working medium and working temperature. The failure of the bellows is analyzed by means of microstucture analysis, hardness analysis and SEM. The results show that the fatigue crack of the bellows initiates from the inner and outer surfaces, and when it expands to near the tip of the crack along the direction to the center of the material, the below fractures instantly. The joint fracture shows ductile morphology. Under the working condition, the vibration has a certain effect on eliminating the residual stress of the bellows, and can significantly improve the fatigue properties of the bellows.
