Studies on Corrosion and Protection of Heat Exchange Tubes of B30 Copper-Nickel Alloy

  • B30 copper nickle alloy has an excellent corrosion resistance against seawater, which is generally used as material for the heat exchange tubes of the seawater condenser for ships. But corrosion failure still exists due to various reasons in practical application of B30 copper nickle alloy. Here, the research progress of the corrosion problems, anti-corrosion mechanism and corrosion factors of B30 Cu-Ni alloy heat exchange tubes and the corrosion protection methods is discussed,which can provide important suggestions for the anti-corrosion design of heat exchange tubes of theship condenser.
