  • The features of diffuse scattered streak in SADPs of β phase in Ti alloy were analyzed under transmission electron microscopy(TEM).These SADPs show that the diffuse scattered streaks in SADPs form a network. For more zone axises, each streak consists of several sections. The sections are parallel each other, but do not lie in a line. The diffuse scattered streaks lie in {112}β.The direction are β×{112}β when the zone axise is β.The cause that the streaks do not lie in a line was explained. It has been identified that the diffuse scattered streak arose from the softening of {112}β phonon mode.
