Monte-carlo Modeling of Pb-Sn Eutectic Growth

  • In this paper,Monte-Carlo(MC) algorithm is employed to study the process of eutectic growth of binary Pb-Sn alloys,the pattern of the solidification microstructure and the relationships between temperature gradient G,growth rate V,cooling rate GV and the lamellar spacing λE in terms of the given experimental conditions.The results simulated by MC approach are in good agreement with the results of our previous work.
