  • By galvanostatic experiment, the electrochemical performances of six kinds of common sacrificial anodes in sulfur recovery catalyst solutions of different temperatures were tested. The results showed that the high-silicon cast iron sacrificial anode had the best overall performance. The open circuit potential and working potential of the high-silicon cast iron were stable, its surface dissolved evenly, and the current efficiency was the highest at relatively high temperature, with 89.7% at 60 ℃. What's more, the dissolved production Fe2+ had no negative effect on the performance of the catalyst. Therefore, the high-silicon cast iron is an ideal sacrificial protection anode material for sulfur recovery unit.
