  • The grade 8. 8 bolts cracked in assembling process. Chemical compositions analysis,mechanical test,fracture morphology observation and microstructure analysis were performed to analyze the cracking of grade 8. 8 bolts in assembling process. The results show that the bolts cracked because of fatigue,and the main reason that the decarburized layer on the surface of the bolts reduced the fatigue property.
