Research on Preparation and Optical Performance of TiO₂ Nanowires

In this paper,TiO₂ nanowires were prepared by hydrothermal reaction and the microstructure,morphology and properties of nanowires is characterized by XRD,SEM,PL and UV-Vis.The results showed that nanowires were anatase TiO₂ with diameter about several nanometer and length up to several micrometers.UV-Vis absorption and PL experiments both show blue shift phenomena.Photocatalysis property of TiO₂ nanowires is also investigated.The result suggests that the TiO₂ nanowires have high specific surface area and may play an important role in catalysis and absorbability application.
