  • In this paper,TiO2 nanowires were prepared by hydrothermal reaction and the microstructure, morphology and properties of nanowires is characterized by XRD,SEM,PL and UV-Vis.The results showed that nanowires were anatase TiO2 with diameter about several nanometer and length up to several micrometers.UV-Vis absorption and PL experiments both show blue shift phenomena.Photocatalysis property of TiO2 nanowires is also investigated. The result suggests that the TiO2 nanowires have high specific surface area and may play an important role in catalysis and absorbability application.
