A Novel Hybrid Monomer Based on a UV-curable Bisphenol-S Epoxy-methacrylate

  • A hybrid methacrylate based on bisphenol-S( DBSHMA) was prepared and the prepared monomers were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy( FTIR),NMR and Mass Spectrometry( MS).DBSHMA was investigated by a realtime infrared spectroscopy( RTIR) and dynamic mechanical analysis( DMA).The results showed that curing order and curing manner had a great influence on the kinetics of hybrid monomer.The efficiency by cationic photopolymerization is greater than that by radical and thermal curing.
