Modifying of Neuber Formula for Stress Analysis at Weld Toe of Butt Joint
Stress-strain concentration factor at weld toe of butt joint under different plane stress and plane strain were calculated based on elastic-plastic FEM. The applicability of Neuber formula for sharp -mild notch and Sonsino modified formula had been analyzed on the basis of above results, modification of Neuber formula was developed.
