Abstract:
In this paper, dynamic mechanical traits and Wicket chart are introduced with focus on the chdracterization of dynamic mechanical properties in a wider range of frequency and temperature by using different testing apparatus and master curve.
Abstract:
A series of acrylate/carbon nanotube conductive coatings are fabricated of carbon nanotube which is coated with some surfactant such as octadecanol, oleic aclid and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate and treaed with ultrasonic. The properties of the coatings including conductivity, hardness and toughess of the coat film are investigated. The results indicate that the coatings have good adhesive, proper hardness and toughness with conductive resistance about 1×103Ω.
Abstract:
Co41Ni33Al26 alloy ribbons with a thickness about 0.2mm were fabricated by hot rolling and cold rolling processes. After heattreated at 1350℃ for 5 hours and then water quenched, the structure of the ribbons matrix phase converted to bamboo-liked recrystallized large grains.Martensitic transformation and damping capacity of Co41Ni33Al26 alloy ribbons were investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and dynamic mechanical spectroscopy (DMS) separately. It was found that the martensitic transformation temperature of 0.2mm thickness ribbons is about 45℃ higher than that of 1.5mm thickness plate.During cooling process, there is a damping peak appearing at the temperature from 140℃ to 25℃ which is obviously wider than its martensitic transformation temperature (121~78℃) measured by means of DSC.It is suggestsed that some stress-induced martensitic transformations took place. The damping capacity of Co41Ni33Al26 alloy ribbon is over 0.04 corresponding to a wide temperature range, indicating that the alloy is a new kind of promising damping material.
Abstract:
The problem of low low-temperature impact toughness of deposited metal welded with D40M submerged arc welding consumable and the problem of copper-plating of D40M wire are solved through adjusting the content of C and Cu element in the wire, thus the quality of D40M wire is assured.
Abstract:
Effect of trace boron on the impact toughness of 440MPa deposited metal has been investigated. It was found that the best impact toughness was obtained by maintaining boron contents within 30ppm when Ti content is 0.01%~0.04% and 40ppm~90ppm when Ti content is 0.04%~0.07% respectively. With the boron contents in these ranges, the microstructure of the deposited metal is almost fine acicular ferrite.Otherwise there will be large volume fraction of pro-eutectoid ferrite or upper bainite and granular bainite along the prior austenite grain boundary which will deteriorate the impact toughness.
Abstract:
The mechanic behavior of TC4 alloy during hot compression deformation is studied with isothermal compression test.It is manifested that the flow stress and structure of TC4 alloy are dominated mainly by the deformation temperature and strain rate.A flow stress equation is obtained through regression analysis, which can be used to determain the thermal deformation processes of TC4 alloy.
Abstract:
In order to enhance the ablation resistance of Cf/SiC composites in high temperature, Ir films on banding and tubular specimen of Cf/SiC composites was made with metalic organic chamical vapour deposition process. The results indicate that after the deposition, the mechanical property of the specimen is not deteriorated and the deposited Ir films show metallic brightness. The excessive oxygen content in the films resulted from O2 flow during the deposition process is reduced remarkably with post treatment of purification, which provides a new approach to high-purity Ir films.
