Influence of Spraying Parameter on Wear Performance of High Velocity Oxy-fuel Flame Spraying WC-Co Coats

  • Sliding wear performances of WC-Co coats was investigated through sliding wear abrasive test.The result shows that spraying parameters such as flow rate of O2 and combusting gas C3H8 has influence on the wear weight loss of the coats.The failure of the coats in the process of sliding wear is characterized by cleavage crack.The peeling carbide particles is a dorminent fator to cause the wear of the coats in the course of failure.Binder phase,oxides and pores in the coats have a great influence on the extension of the crack.
