  • In comparison with traditional sandwich structures,Z-dimensional-reinforced foam core sandwich structures enhances mechanical performances along through-thickness direction.These structures have been widely applied in astronautics,aeronautics and navigation fields because of their high stiffness-to-weight ratio,high strength-to-weight ratio and low radiate sound.In this paper,the types and relative processing technology of through-thickness reinforced foam core sandwich structures are introduced in detail.
